Next Week (September 18th – 22nd):
·              Spirit Week is this week. Students may be out of uniform if the specific theme days is followed (listed below). Please note, students may wear non-uniform bottoms if he/she is following the themed days. 
·                                      Monday: PJ/Comfy Clothes Day
·                                      Tuesday: Dress Your Best!  Be Fancy!
·                                      Wednesday: Sport/Athletic Wear
·                                      Thursday: Throwback Thursday: 80's & 90's attire!
·                                      Friday: Be your 'selfie"- dress like you!

The Following Week (September 25th - 29th):
·              Picture Day is Wednesday, September 27th. Students may be out of uniform this day and do not need to change into uniform clothes after pictures. Forms will be sent home before this week so you can select your photos/photo package, if desired. 
·              Friday, September 29th is College T-Shirt Day and our first OSA. College t-shirts will be distributed at school.

 April 10th
MUM
 I made a mistake in my last posting.  The fourth grade students will be taking their math MCA test on Thursday and Friday the 20 and 21 of April.  I will spend the three days leading up to the testing reviewing.  Please keep practicing their multiplication and division facts.
MUR
The reading MCA testing will be the following week Thursday and Friday April 27 and 28th.  We will also continue to review.
April 2nd

MUM
The week of April 3-7 our class will be finishing with transformations.  And then start charts and graphs and probability.  We will continue to review skills in preparation for the MCA math test after spring break.  The students will be taking their MCA math test on Wednesday and Thursday April 19th-20th.  Please keep having the students practice their multiplication division facts.

MUR
The class is reviewing everything from different genre such as folktales, fantasy to nonfiction. They will also be reviewing figurative language in poetry and other passages. Identifying main idea and details as well as the theme of a story.  The students will be covering adjectives, adverbs and sentence structure in their grammar books.  Their reading MCA test will be Wednesday and Thursday, April 26-27.  The students will have vocabulary lesson 12 this week but during the two weeks of MCA there will be no spelling or vocabulary homework or test.
