Hello Families!
I cannot believe the school year is nearly over! Time flies when you're having fun, and we are having a lot of fun this week!
In history we are learning all about our neighbors to the North. We are doing a few lessons on Canada. There will not be a test on this unit. In writing students are working on their own picture book.
Attire and Calendar for the rest of the year (please read carefully as there is a LOT of information!):
- Wednesday, May 23rd: Athletic Wear. Dress for your favorite team, wear your sports' uniform, or a t-shirt for your sport.
- Thursday, May 24th: Throw back to the 80's. Bring on the big hair, leg warmers, and ripped jeans! This is also the last day of MUM and MUR for 3rd graders.
- Friday, May 25th: College t-shirt, choice bottoms, funky socks! OSA at 10am; early release at 1pm.
- Monday, May 28th: NO SCHOOL for Memorial Day!
- Tuesday, May 29th: Track and Field Day! Students may dress for the athletic events and should wear tennis shoes and sunscreen. 3rd grade will be at track and field from 1:00-2:30. In the case of inclement weather, we will be in the gym. I will have students empty their desks and lockers out this day, consider sending along an extra bag.
- Wednesday, May 30th: Field trip! College t-shirts and choice bottoms. If you want to join us for bowling, feel free to meet us there!
- Thursday, May 31st: Uniform Day for the last day of school. All school talent show from 9:00 am to 10:50 am.
